WHEN TO DRINK IT

Daytime: morning as an alternative to your third coffee, mid-afternoon when the background noise gets louder, or any time you need to come back to yourself without lying down.

This is not a night blend, For that, see Sunset.

HOW TO BREW

Add 1–2 teaspoons to a strainer or infuser. Steep in water just off the boil (around 95°C) for 5–7 minutes. Lighter and more floral than you might expect from a 'nervous system' blend, it's approachable, not medicinal. Adaptogens like tulsi work best with consistent daily use. Make it part of your routine rather than an emergency cup.

5 Named Botanicals

Every herb disclosed. You know exactly what you're drinking and why it's in there.

For Consistent Use

Adaptogens work best as part of a daily habit, one cup a day beats an occasional large dose.

here's how still works

Calm without the crash. A daytime blend for nervous system support, so you can stay present without running on empty.

1

LEMON BALM AND TULSI ADDRESS THE
STRESS RESPONSE

Lemon Balm is a nervine. It directly calms the nervous system without sedating it. Tulsi (holy basil) is an adaptogen, meaning it helps the body adapt to stress over time and supports healthy cortisol regulation with consistent use. Together, they work on both the immediate feeling of anxiety and the longer-term stress response.

2

OAT STRAW NOURISHES THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
LONG-TERM

Less well-known than the other herbs but arguably the most important for sustained use. Oat straw, the green tops of the oat plant, not the grain — has been used as a nervous system tonic for centuries. It nourishes and restores rather than just quieting, which is the difference between managing stress and building resilience.

3

CHAMOMILE SOFTENS THE BLEND

A gentler touch of chamomile here than in Sunset, enough to round the blend out and add a calming quality without making Still a sleepy cup. It works with the other herbs rather than dominating them.

4

ROSE PETALS ADD WHAT THE SCIENCE CAN'T

Rose petals are in here because they're beautiful, they taste good, and sometimes the act of making something lovely for yourself is its own form of nervous system support. Not everything needs a mechanism of action to earn its place.

why skin essence?

  • For the Body

  • For the Senses

Lemon Balm

A nervine herb that directly supports the nervous system, reducing anxiety without sedating it. Studied for its calming effects and widely used for stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue. Safe for regular daily use.

Tulsi / Holy Basil

An Ayurvedic adaptogen with a long history of use for stress resilience, anxiety, and cognitive function. Supports the body's cortisol regulation over time, which is why consistent daily use matters more than an occasional large dose.

Oat Straw

The dried green tops of the oat plant, distinct from the grain. A traditional nervous system tonic that nourishes and restores rather than just quieting, particularly useful for people who are chronically stressed or running

on empty.

Lighter Than Expected

For a blend labelled 'nervous system support,' Still is surprisingly approachable, soft, gently floral, and easy to drink. No medicinal bitterness; no overwhelming herbal quality.

Lemony and Fresh

Lemon balm gives Still a gentle lemony brightness that makes it feel like a reset in a cup. It's clean and easy to reach for, which matters for a tea you're supposed to drink

every day.

Soft Floral Depth

Chamomile and rose petals give the blend warmth and softness without making it heavy. The kind of cup you make because you want to, not because you have to.

frequently asked questions

Q: What's the difference between Still and Sunset?

A: Still is a daytime blend. It calms the nervous system without making you sleepy or winding you down. Sunset is an evening blend specifically designed to help you fall asleep. If you need both (a full-day approach to nervous system support), they work well together as a pair.

Q: What does 'adaptogen' actually mean?

A: An adaptogen is a herb that helps the body adapt to stress. Rather than sedating it or numbing it, it supports the systems that manage how you respond to stress in the first place. Tulsi (holy basil) is the adaptogen in Still, and it works best with consistent daily use rather than in large occasional doses.

Q: Will it make me sleepy or affect my focus?

A: No, that's the whole point of Still being a daytime blend. It takes the edge off without making you foggy or tired.

Q: How many cups a day?

A: 1–3 cups is typical. Adaptogens work best with regular use, so consistency matters more than quantity. One cup every day is more effective than three cups once a week

Q: When will I notice a difference?

A: Adaptogens like tulsi take time to build effect. Most people notice a meaningful shift in their stress response after 2–3 weeks of a consistent daily cup. Lemon balm's nervine effect is more immediate, so you may notice that Still takes the edge off from the first cup, while the deeper benefits come with regular use.

Q: Can I drink this while pregnant?

A: Some adaptogenic herbs aren't recommended during pregnancy. Please check with your healthcare provider before using if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Q: Is this just for people who are stressed, or is it for general nervous system health?

Both, and the line between them is thinner than most people think. Your nervous system is doing a lot of work all the time, regardless of whether you'd describe yourself as 'stressed.' Still is for anyone who wants to support that system intentionally, not just people in crisis.
